We welcome and encourage parents to participate in their child's education. We recognize that there are many different ways for parents to participate in their children's education. The following are some ways parents can participate:
- Attend parent-teacher conferences.
- Read to your child.
- Monitor homework activities.
- Visit the school and classrooms.
- Assist in the classroom.
- Be a guest speaker.
- Volunteer to be a mentor to a classroom or student.
- And, of course, attend our Parent Involvement Workshops.
Parental involvement is a partnership between the parents, teachers, administrators, and children. All must work together to ensure this relationship flourishes. When parents and families are involved in their children's education, children do better in school, and schools improve as well.
