Students
The Colquitt County Achievement Center is an alternative program for students in grades 6—12.
School hours: Monday—Friday, 8:00 –3:10 P.M. | Maximum class size is 12 students.
- Students who have not been placed in the alternative program because of bus incidents or aggressive behavior may ride the bus. Transportation Department (click for more information)
- Guidance and career counseling are provided.
- Additional counseling is available through Archbold Student Assistance Program and Vashti Counseling Center
- Student activities are available for eligible students.
- Breakfast and lunch are available. School Nutrition Department (click for more information)
- Based on recommendation of Graduation Coach or Counselor, student may be eligible for Independent Study Options
Beginning with their first day of attendance, all students assigned to the Achievement Center through the hearing process or a waiver are required to conform to the specific dress code outlined below. This applies to both males and females.
All students must wear a WHITE, BLACK, or GOLD (YELLOW), polo type shirt with a collar and blue jeans.
UNIFORM SAMPLES
Color Selection: Solid Colors; however, a single small logo no larger than a fist is acceptable.
Tops: Short or long sleeves but must have a collar: White, Black or Gold (Yellow). Students must keep their shirts tucked in at all times while on any school campus. A solid white or black t-shirt must be worn as an under garment. No writing allowed on under garment.
Bottoms: Solid Blue Jeans, can not have any rips or holes. Pants must be worn above the hipbone and fit in the waist area.
Sweatshirts/Pullovers/Jackets: White, Black or Gold (Yellow) in any of these colors without a hood.
Belts: Black or Brown
Shoes: Shoelaces must be visible and tied; velcro straps must be fastened.
WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED
- Jeans with Holes
- Hooded Sweatshirts or Hoodies
- No Crocs, Sandals or Slides
- No Jewelry or Piercing is allowed
- No Cell Phones
- No Sagging Pants; Pants must be worn above the hipbones.
