Junior BETA club is open, by invitation, to 5th grade students who are AB Honor Roll students and maintain satisfactory conduct.
Mission or purpose – The purpose of the Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.

C.H.A.M.P.S
Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety
C.H.A.M.P.S Mission is to provide an educational program for Georgia’s youth, which provides guidance, and the skills, ability and knowledge to be safe, healthy, and happy, in preparation for a successful life.
The Colquitt County Sherriffs Department works with 5th grade students at Cox Elementary throughout the school year. The C.H.A.M.P.S. lesson plans are taught by Certified deputy sheriffs who have successfully completed C.H.A.M.P.S. instructor training.

SPORTS
YMCA Sports is open to students in 4th & 5th grade.
Purpose: gain skills in athletics and model good sportsmanship
Teams: soccer, basketball, and flag football

FINE ARTS PROGRAM
Every Friday from 8:30- 9:30 AM.
Located in Cox Gymnasium
Each class performs a skit through out the school year.
Parents are welcome to attend!
