There's a new team on the block at C. A. Gray. The Process Champions recently attended training with Principal Fred Smith and set a mission for themselves to help improve our school climate. Fostering connections and relationships with students is one of their focuses and an integral part of education. Inspired by Principal Ivy Smith at Hahira Middle School, the team challenged Gray staff to think of a student who pushes them. Encourages them. Asks the hard questions. Challenges them in the best way. Represents the reason why they choose to teach. Teachers were given one bracelet to present to that student, while sharing the reasons that he or she inspires them every day. Some staff chose to make it a special moment just between teacher and student, while others will be posted over the next few weeks on our Facebook account. Follow us to find out our whys!
