STEAM

Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) initiative will engage and empower students during their school careers and provide life skills. Many of the STEAM activities are done daily in the classrooms through project based lessons and inquiry based lessons. We also have STEAM days where school wide activities and challenges allow students to problem solve, work collaboratively and complete different projects/challenges. STEAM supports a wide range of activities. Listed below are some of the STEAM related activities: 

•School Wide STEAM Days 
•Science/Math- Project Lead the Way Lessons, Math manipulatives
•Science Experiments- consumable products, microscopes, experiments
•Technology- robots, computers, iPads, chromebooks
•Engineering- Makers Movement, Legos, Project Lead the Way Lessons
•Art Classes/Club- supplies focusing on Art and Geometry 
•STEAM Classes- focusing on Science/Measurement/Data/Art
•STEAM Grade Level Projects- Pollinator Garden, Litter Project, School Garden, Composting/Tortoise Habitat, Raising Chickens,etc.  
•Music - Chapel/Fine Arts/Theater Programs
