a valid permissible purpose exists as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Verifiers seeking employment and/or income information for our employees must submit VOE/VOI requests through Verifent.

Thank you for contacting us with your employment and/or income verification request. We use Verifent to respond to all verification requests. Therefore, you will need to visit www.Verifent.com, register as a verifier, and submit your verification request. Once we receive the request through the Verifent website, we will securely respond to your request as soon as possible. Please see the instructions/FAQ’s below to obtain the information you need.

How do I register as a verifier?
Please visit www.Verifent.com, click on the ‘Let’s Get Started Now’ button in the upper right hand corner, click on ‘Verifiers,’ scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Register Now.’
Am I a verifier?
All verifiers must apply (www.verifent.com) and be credentialed (approved) before gaining access to Verifent. This is a one-time requirement. Additionally, every verifier must have an approved Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Permissible Purpose.
What information do I need to obtain a verification?
Our Organization Code is: 840FA1. In addition to our Organization Code, you will need the consumer’s correct first and last name while working for us, their date-of-birth, last four digits of their Social Security Number, and proof of consumer consent for any verification including income information.
What is the difference between a commercial and government verifier?
A commercial verifier is anyone that is not a government agency; i.e., mortgage company, auto finance, apartment complex, pre-employment screening, credit card, etc… A government verifier is a government agency looking to assist a consumer. i.e., SNAP, TANF, WIC, child support, Medicaid, subsidized housing, etc...
Step 1: Ensure your Hiring District Has An Account With Verifent
Your Hiring District must have a Hiring District (Verifier) account with Verifent. If they don't currently have an account, please forward them the "Message to Hiring District" communication materials. You can contact suuport@verifent.com to obtain this document if you don't already have it.
Step 2: visit verifent
Visit www.Verifent.com. Click the 'Let's Get Started Now' button in the upper-right hand corner and select 'Employees'. On the next screen, scroll down and select the 'Initiate Service Record' button.
step 3: enter information
a. Enter your Hiring District
b. Enter your information.
c. Enter the Former District(s) from which you need a service record. If your Former District does not drop down as you type under 'Former School District Lookup', click on 'Enter New District' and enter the information requested. Note: Multiple Former Districts can be selected.
Step 4: submit request(s)
Once you have entered all your Former Districts, press 'Submit Teacher Experience Verification(s).' You will be notified of the progress of your requests through email. If you have any questions, please contact the Support Team at support@verifent.com
We use Verifent to respond to Service Records requests for data security and ease of use. Therefore, we ask that the request be made on the Verifent platform. They provide two options for this process. Both options require the Hiring District to have a registered account.
Step 1: register for a hiring district (verifier) account
- This is a no cost, one-time set up
- Go to www.Verifent.com
- Click 'Let's Get Started Now'>School Systems>Requesting (Hiring) District
step 2: making the request
After your account is approved, there are two options to have the request sent to our dashboard.
option 1: hr department makes request in-house
- Log in to your Hiring District Account
- Select 'NEW TEACHER EXPERIENCE VERIFICATION (TEV)'
- Select previous school district(s)
- Multiple school districts can be chosen in one request
- Enter new employee's data
- Select to request optional additional information
- Sign and submit the request
option 2: new employee initiates the request
- Go to www.Verifent.com>Click 'Let's Get Started Now'>'Initiate Service Record'
- Enter requested information
- Note: Multiple Former Districts can be selected
- After all Former Districts have been selected, press 'Submit Teacher Experience Verifications(s)'
*Verifent is a no charge service for school districts to request and complete Teacher Experience Verifications. Verifent is also a no cost platform for school districts to respond to verifications of employment and income.
