The canning plant will begin full-time operation on May 23rd. We will be open from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM by appointment only. The canning plant will operate 5 days a week and on the following Saturdays: June 15, 22, & 29, and July 6. We will be closed on May 27th in observance of Memorial Day, July 4th in observance of Independence Day, and July 14-17 to attend a teacher meeting out of town.
The canning plant will be open through July 19th (exceptions possible depending on the availability of produce).
PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW NUMBER!! Customers will be required to make appointments by calling 229-890-6141 EXT: 23010 (ask for Brittany or Blaize) from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday OR via our Facebook Page. We will NOT be accepting phone calls until May 13th, but you may schedule a meeting via Facebook until then. If we do not answer the phone, please leave your name and number so we can return your call. If possible, please consider making an appointment multiple days in advance to ensure space on schedule. If only dropping off pre-filled jars to be processed, an appointment is not necessary, but please call ahead.
We encourage customers to do as much prep work as possible before coming to the canning plant. (ex. Snap green beans in advance, shuck corn at home, wash jars before coming in, fill jars before coming in, etc.)
