Colquitt County School District and the Colquitt County community are very fortunate to have not suffered extensive damage like our neighboring communities. After evaluating all schools today, we can safely welcome students and staff back on Monday, September 30th.
- No school buildings were damaged.
- All schools/offices have power, phone services and internet.
- School Nutrition will be ready to serve breakfast and lunch at each school.
- Bus transportation will run as normal, but we expect some delays. Bus drivers will take extra precautions when running their early morning routes.
We understand that some of our district families are dealing with the storm's impacts, but we feel it is in the student's best interest to return to school and a normal routine. We look forward to welcoming students and staff in the morning.
