Summer is a great time to go on an adventure, meet new friends, or do something you've never done before. Unique summer opportunities for kids of all ages are available in our community. Colquitt County School District wants to help families find activities for their kids that are fun, meaningful, adventurous, and fit their summer schedules.
On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, organizations from all over will join the school district to offer a one-stop shop for families to learn about and sign up for summer activities. Families can visit booths showcasing day camps, weeklong camps, short classes, or activities under one roof. New this year is the addition of Dalton's food truck, Kona Ice, and the Moultrie Library Book Mobile.
Organizations such as ABAC's Georgia Museum of Agriculture, Packer Cheerleading, Georgia Peach Elite, Camp Invention, PCOM, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, 4-H, the Art Center, and more will be ready to sign kids and teens up for summer fun. Summer activities will be available for children from kindergarten through high school age. There will be opportunities for teens to sign up for camps like cybersecurity, martial arts, or PCOM's Opportunities Academy. Families who attend the event will be entered into drawings for door prizes from participating organizations, such as discounted registration fees.
Summer Camp Connections will be held at Southern Regional Technical College's Moultrie Campus from 3:30 to 6:00 pm on March 25, 2025. We invite all families to join us as we gear up for summer! For more information, please visit https://www.colquitt.k12.ga.us/families/summer-camps.
