Junior BETA Club works to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

Honor Guard
The Honor Guard is open to 5th grade. Students are offered an opportunity to join the Honor Guard towards the end of the 4th grade (May). Students interested answer a questionnaire, go through an interview and learn flag etiquette. Students are then selected to the Honor Guard starting their 5th grade school year. The Honor Guard is responsible for raising and lowering the flag every day, as well as participating in our Veterans Day program in November.

Music Club
Music club meets at 7:20 --7:35 AM on Mondays for 4th grade and Fridays 5th grade. Students will learn techniques and skills for melody instruments, including xylophones, metallophones, resonator bills, autoharp; may also include Rhythm instruments. Students may be considered leaders in the classroom to help other or to play more difficult parts. Members will be asked to set up equipment for PTO program practices.

Running Club
Running Club is for 3rd-5th graders. We meet one grade level at a time in the mornings before the bell rings. 3rd grade meets one day a week. 4th and 5th grades meet twice a week. Students learn how to set goals, use their energy in a positive way, and become true runners.

Tech Club
Tech Club meets each Wednesday, 2:30 - 4:00 for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. Programs, tools, and skills that are taught in the school year: Digital Citizenship, Computer coding, PowerPoint, Google Web Design, Gimp (Image Editor), Chroma Key Screening, Cinema 4D, Camtasia, Drone piloting (for 5th graders). - DDN NEWS-
