Why Attendance is Crucial

Regular school attendance is essential for students' academic success and overall development. When students are present, they have the chance to engage fully with their lessons, build relationships with their peers, and benefit from the resources and support our school provides.

What You Can Do

Communicate: If your child is experiencing difficulties that are affecting their ability to attend school regularly, please let us know. We are here to help and can connect you with resources or support.

Encourage: Support your child in developing good habits around school attendance. Establish routines, ensure they get enough rest, and talk about the importance of their education.

Reach Out: If you have any questions or need assistance, do not hesitate to contact the school. We are here to work with you to find solutions and support your family.

Attendance policy highlights

1. 3 Unexcused Absences: You will receive a contact from us to discuss your child’s attendance and explore any potential challenges or support needs.

2. 5 Unexcused Absences: We will schedule a school-based conference to develop a plan to address attendance issues and find solutions together.

3. 7 unexcused Absences: A home visit will be conducted to better understand the circumstances affecting attendance.

4. 9 Unexcused Absences: We will arrange a hearing involving school officials, district attorney, and Family and Children services to address the attendance concerns.

5. 12 Unexcused Absences: Legal action will be pursued as a last resort.
