2024 Tryouts:
- CCHS Spirit Tryouts will be held April 15-19 from 4:00-5:30 in the indoor facility.
Tryout Attire:
- Wear Packer colors each day of tryouts.
- Wear cheer shoes or any tennis shoes.
- Have your hair pulled back out of your face.
- Do not wear jewelry.
Safety Concerns:
- Cheer candidates must wear shoes at all times; including before, during, and after practice.
- Cheer candidates should not attempt any element of cheerleading (i.e. jumping, tumbling, or stunting) without the direct attention and permission of the cheer coaches present.
- Cheer candidates should not attempt any tumble skill which has not been practiced and perfected in the tumbling gym before tryouts. Cheer coaches do not pressure cheer candidates to tumble without being assured of their proficiency beforehand. Additionally, the cheer candidate is expected to honestly inform coaches of his/her level of experience. (Note: Tryouts are not the time to "give it a try" because your peers are encouraging you that "you can do it!")
- Cheer candidates should not participate in any level of horseplay, jumping on other cheerleaders or playing roughly before, during, or after practice.
- Cheer candidates should inform the coach(es) immediately of any possible injury during tryouts.
PAPERWORK is now all digital. Follow these steps:
- Fill out the google form from the QR Code
.
- Get a physical with a doctor, if you do not have a current one. You will be notified if the physical on file is no longer valid.
- Note: Physicals will be FREE for rising 9th-12th graders. More information to come.
- Create a Dragonfly Account (One account per family)
- Visit dragonflymax.com and click the "Log In/Sign Up" button.
- Click "Sign Up for Free" then follow the prompts to create your Parent account with your own email address. NOTE: Do not create an account in your child's name or contact information - you will get the chance to add your child soon.
- Verify your account with the verification ID sent to your email address.
- Click "Connect to Your School" to select "Parent" as your role and search for your child's school.
- After selecting your child's school, click "Join" to request access. An administrator at your school will approve your request.
- Click "Set Up Your Children" and follow the prompts to add your child(ren) and fill out their participation forms.
- Select the following category: Rising 10th-12th graders choose:Women's Cheerleading Varsity
- Complete All Forms (10 total).
- The last three are the health physical you will get from a doctor broken into three sections.
- You will scan or take pictures of the physical and upload them to DragonFly. (If you do not have a file that is current.)
