Homeless Children and Youth (McKinney-Vento Education for Homeless Children and Youth)
Homeless youth and youth separated from public schools are identified and accorded equal access to appropriate secondary education and support services, including by identifying and removing barriers that prevent youths described in this clause from receiving appropriate credit for full or partial coursework satisfactory completed while attending a prior school, in accordance with State, local, and school policies.
Georgia Milestones Assessment
The Georgia Milestones Assessment System is designed to provide information about how well students are mastering the state-adopted content standards in the core content areas of English language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. This video explains more about the assessment.
