English for Speakers of Other Languages banner

Colquitt County Schools provides language services to qualifying students at each of our schools (K-12) through a system wide English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program. This program is funded through Title III, a federally funded program providing supplemental services.

All ESOL students are required to take the ACCESS 2.0 for ELLs every year. This standardized assessment assesses academic language tasks in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking across the content areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Resources and practice assessments will be provided.
